Lenovo K3 Note is finally ready to hit the smartphone market. This affordable smartphone company Lenovo decided to release on coming week. The rumor about the launch date of Lenovo K3 Note is that company will launch it on June 25 in India. This smartphone was released in Lenovo home market (China) in March and now it looks like it’s headed to India Soon.
Lenovo India has started sending press invites for the launch of its affordable price and gorgeous look smartphone Lenovo K3 Note device at June 25 event. The company is widely expected to launch the K3 Note smartphone in India. During the launching event of Lenovo K3 Note, which it will showcase the K3 Note for the sub-continent. That’s also when we should find out how much it will cost in India, and when it will be in stores.
The press invite by Lenovo includes an image that says “Note the date,” with the word Note highlighted in bigger letters, and in a different colour.
The Lenovo K3 Note is a 4G LTE affordable price phablet, it was initially launched in China, and the K3 Note goes for CNY 899, which right now translates into approximately INR 9,302, $144, or €128. So this is clearly one affordable smartphone. We assume Lenovo will want to have it below INR 10,000 in India so that it can properly compete in that market.
Notably, the Lenovo K3 Note smartphone was seen as a competition to the Meizu m1 note in China. Meizu, the Chinese handset manufacturer, last month launched its Meizu m1 note smartphone in India, priced at Rs. 11,999. While both devices have almost identical specifications, the key differentiator would be the pricing for the Indian market.
The Lenovo K3 Note, much like other budget Lenovo offerings, offers dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) support, and runs Android 5.0 Lollipop with the new Vibe UI on top. It features a 5.5-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) display with 401ppi pixel density. The smartphone is powered by a 64-bit 1.5GHz octa-core (MediaTek MT6572) processor with 2GB of RAM.
The Lenovo K3 Note has a 5.5-inch 1080p touchscreen, a 13 MP rear camera with dual-LED flash, a 5 MP front-facing unit, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of expandable storage, and a 3,000 mAh battery. It’s powered by the MediaTek MT6752 SoC with 1.7 GHz octa-core Cortex-A53 CPU. It runs Android 5.0 Lollipop underneath Lenovo’s own Vibe UI. It measures 152.6×76.2×7.99mm and weighs 150 grams.
Lenovo is currently selling the Lenovo A6000 Plus and Lenovo A7000 smartphones via exclusive online partner, Flipkart. Both the smartphones are available via flash sale model.
